To coincide with the 10-page story in the October/November issue of Canadian Geographic, Ben Nelms will be exhibiting his photo story, 'Fin – The great green shark hunt'. Humans have hunted sharks for centuries, particularly for consumption as shark fin soup — a delicacy in Chinese culture. Animal rights advocates criticize the shark fin harvest, often referencing horrific videos and photographs to argue the process is inhumane and unjustified.
